Robert D. Kaplan - Expert on Geopolitics and International Affairs

Robert D. Kaplan is Chief Geopolitical Analyst for STRATFOR, a private intelligence firm, and a non-resident senior fellow at the Center for a New American Security in Washington, D.C., and has been a foreign correspondent for The Atlantic for over a quarter-century. In 2011, Kaplan was chosen by Foreign Policy magazine as among the world's Top 100 Global Thinkers. He is the author of Monsoon: The Indian Ocean and the Future of American Power.
