I bought competitive Pokemon on Ebay and got banned. Here's how it happened.

I think the first team was made for singles, it would explain why gholdengo was so bulky and had that moveset, why tinkaton had stealth rock, and so on, which don't make sense for doubles but make sense for singles (even though you go with mons from ubers all the way down to UU so I don't know what the seller was cooking).

The baxcalibur in game one just used Glaive rush so fiery dance did double damage, that’s why it knocked out

Okay, the funniest part about the "win in two turns" team is that I faced that exact team in GC 2. It is, in fact, Flower Trick Meowscarada and Anger Point Krookodile, who KOs or ejects his own teammate with Earthquake after going to +6 and then Flamigo switches in. They lost in two turns when Bundle destroyed Krookodile. 😂😂 Now the way that they messed up using the Sableye makes a lot more sense if they'd never used it before (my opponent Shadow Sneaked something for minimal damage and then attempted to Fake Out on its second turn out; I chalked it up to a misclick).

Calling you dear is a classic Chinese seller trait, I think its a scam tactic + a translation issue at the same time. They try to be endearing to hook you but they miss the fact that calling you dear out of the blue is weird. Back in 2010 or so I used to buy WoW gold and thats the exact same way the sellers spoke to me

There’s a lot of issues with the krook/meow team, but one of the things about the meow set I find weird is the lack of any attack outside of flower trick on a -atk set. Meow has access to stab foul play, you should almost always be running that on an anger point team like this so it’s not useless after the initial proc.

Oh hey! I actually made a video on my channel about that Krookodile Meowscarada team back in season 1 and I think that's where that seller got it from! Hearing you dissect the team was actually pretty funny! But yeah in current seasons the team isn't as useful, but in my showcase video it was mainly just to show off funny moments with the meowscarada-krookodile combo. It's wild to see a team I made show up on your channel, I just didn't think it'd be like this

That second team was actually made popular by another YouTuber during VGC Series 1. Besides the tera types and all I think it’s an exact replica of theirs

The Krookodile/Meowscarada team was actually stolen from a small YouTuber named Shanaha. They posted a couple videos on this team. The first one only explains and uses the first four mons, while the second one they pull out indeedee hatterene. Turns out, the Sableye and Meowscarada having Skill Swap is so they can Skill Swap the Flamigo's Costar and gain max attack and +1 speed, should the Krookodile die. Tera rock is to give Rock Slide STAB when there's a Flying type or a Levitator on the field. I recommend finding their video on it and watching it, as the Ebay scammer only said "Win in 2 turns" and the actual video gives a deeper dive into the team

The first team looks like a Singles team actually. It'd explain why there's a Stealth Rock Tinkaton, and Defensive Gholdengo is pretty good for BSS.

Thrash HS Garchomp is still insane though
