The Phryges - Paris 2024 Paralympic and Olympic Mascots | Paralympic Games

Introducing the Paralympic Phryge and the Olympic Phryge, two mascots that will be the primary ambassadors of the Paris 2024 Games.

The Phryges are two little Phrygian caps that embody the French spirit, values and are a strong symbol of France.

They are the leaders of a tribe who always have their trainers on. The Paris 2024 mascots aim to lead a revolution through sport. Their mission: to get the world moving in the run up to the Games and beyond.

Something weird about these mascots is that one has a sickle as their leg but the sickle when they touch the floor looks squashed

I bet The Phryges are going to be as acclaimed, wanted and cherished as Fiu, the cute bird mascot of the Pan American Games Santiago 2023 (Chile). During their 2 weeks, there was a fever for him: people went crazy and everyone wanted a pin, plush, mug or even a photo with him. Merchandising sold out, there was almost nothing left of the Games' official online store: it was a huge success for a mascot to be. Actually, Fiu should meet The Phryges!
