About the music video for Owl & Rat:
Ilkka Tolonen, the songs composer talks about the song and music video: "Owl & Rat was actually created completely by accident. It's rare that you can say that about a song. Years ago I had a dream in which an owl and a rat were attacking each other, feasting on each others flesh until there were only two stomachs left still trying to eat each other. The refrain of the song was playing in the background. The other melodies I started whistling while sitting on the bus on my way to downtown Helsinki. I took the idea to the band and Stina wrote the verses. The concept for the video had been on my mind for a long time before I talked with the director Mikko Lohenoja. I wanted it to have people kissing passionately with an apple in between mouths, preventing the lips from touching.

Owl & Rat kappaleen säveltäjä Ilkka Tolonen kertoo seuraavaa kappaleesta: ”Tämä biisi on syntynyt minun osaltani oikeastaan vahingossa. Harvoin voi sanoa, että "se vaan tuli", mutta tämän biisin kohdalla kävi juuri niin. Näin vuosia sitten unen, jossa pöllö ja rotta hyökkäilivät toistensa kimppuun, kunnes jäljellä oli vain kaksi täpötäyttä mahalaukkua, jotka yrittivät edelleen syödä toisiaan. Kertosäkeen hokema soi siinä taustalla. Muita melodioita aloin viheltelemään ajatuksissani kerran bussimatkalla keskustaan. Esittelin ideani bändille ja Stina teki säkeistöt. Videon idea on myöskin vaivannut mieltäni pitkään. Halusin ihmisiä suutelemassa intohimoisesti siten, että omena estää huulten kosketuksen. Esittelin idean Mikko Lohenojalle, joka ohjasi siitä videon.”
