Alexander once asked the hermit philosopher, Diogenes, a man he envied, that he can give him anything he wants all he has to do is ask, Diogenes responded with "move, you're blocking the sun."

1:07 the writting is greek from the name of alexander the great 'ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΣ', so one proof that the ancient Macedonia was and it is part of Greek History

This expert is my favorite expert. With these experts on this show I usually use that word with quotations over it, but not with this guy because he is a real expert. He is cool, calm and collected and knows a lot about the world of coins. Cool guy!

I just can't believe that a two and a half thousand year old coin is worth only 500 dollars, that's crazy. I thought it would be worth at least several thousand.

My condolences, hope Corey takes this as a wake up call and takes it easy on the drugs.

Rick should have asked the man how he came to think it was worth $100, 000.

Macedonia was a Greek kingdom, the slavs north of Greece have no relation to antiquity.

He was from ancient Macedonia, a region still located in modern day Greece. The modern Former Yoguslav republic of Macedonia got nothing to do with ancient macedonoa

Macedonia was not north of Greece. It was North Greece.

I lost my daughter at age 19 to a heroin overdose. My heart and prayers go out to Rick and his family. No parent should ever have to bury their child

I literally bought this coin online after this episode. 😂 for the cost and history it's a slam dunk.

North of Greece you can find the former Yugoslavic country, now called "North Macedonia". Of course, Alexander the Great was not a Yugoslav! His birthplace, his palace and his family's burial grounds are within the Macedonia prefecture of Greece! Please correct this the next time!

I bought a coin of Alexander the Great, with an NGC rating of AU, and its condition is much better than this one. I regret that I bought it for $950. The reason is due to the decline in prices of the Alexander coin because it is widely available and not rare.
