The Lucky Texan 1934 Western John Wayne Classic Full Movie

The Lucky Texan is a 1934 Western film starring John Wayne as Jerry Mason, a young Texan who teams up with an old rancher Jake Benson, played by George “Gabby” Hayes, to mine for gold. However, they face trouble from two crooked assayers who try to cheat them out of their claim and frame them for murder. The film features a rare appearance by Hayes without a beard and in drag, as well as some thrilling stunts by Yakima Canutt. The film was written and directed by Robert N. Bradbury, who also worked with Wayne on several other B-movie Westerns. The film is also known as Gold Strike River in its colorized version.
