Only reason the old challenger was faster in acceleration is because it was a Cromwell based tank using the meteor engine, which gave pretty good PtW ratio, and the challenger 2 prioritises crew protection and comfort over speed which, even though having a 12 cylinder modern engine, doesn't have as good of a PtW ratio

I mean, the Challenger (1943) is a pretty damn quick tank for a WWII chassis (since it's basically an updated Cromwell).

However, I imagine the Chally II would win a commanding lead if you reran this in reverse.

OG Chally is one of my favorite british tanks in the game. Very fast for its BR, grest gun, insane reload, andba turret traverse that makes you think you're an SPAA (very fast).
