Greetings to all from Brazil.
1° Delete the object, in this case the cube.
2° Shift+A and go to curve "Bézier".
3° Edit Mode, delete and click on vertices
4° Pencil: Draw. Draw something. I noticed that closing the drawing helps. Try it out for yourself.
5° Return to object mode: and go to Object, which is below Layout. In Object, go to: Covert and click on Mesh. Covert to will appear, keep it at original.
6° Modifers: + add Modifer: Search. Type: Screw and click. That's it.
It took the madman here half an hour, going back and forth and watching the video in slow mode, to understand.
