Doctors to FDA: Restore Critical Abortion Drug Safeguards

The doctors that ADF represents have seen women hurt by these high-risk abortion drugs. That’s why they want basic safeguards restored.

According to the FDA’s own label for these drugs, roughly 1 in 25 women who take them will end up in the emergency room. No woman should be left to take such a risky drug all alone without the in-person care of a doctor, so we are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to restore critical safeguards including the requirement that doctors meet in-person with women who take them.
