Just a tip. The OH is not lost from both the carboxylic acid and the alcohol. The acid loses its OH and the alcohol its hydrogen to form H2O. And the oxygen from the alcohol bods to the acid to bond the two together to form an ester. If both the OH's were lost then it would form H2O2.

When ethyl alcohol reacts with acetic acid, the hydroxyl group of the alcohol and the hydrogen of the acid react together and get eliminated as a water molecule...I have got this statement from google... Is it right or not?

You don't get rid of both -OH groups. You only get rid of one -OH group and a single hydrogen (-H) from the other -OH group. The -OH and single -H form H-O-H, which is Water (H2O). Water is made from 2 hydrogens and a single Oxygen. One Oxygen is left over to form the ester bond.
