The Governor does not understand that Indian Nations are Sovereign Nations trapped w in the borders of the U.S. she has no say on what a tribe can or can't do. The tribe is exercising it's Sovereignty.

The governor should be glad the CRST has been helping keep the hospitals from overflowing with contagious COVID-19 patients. My family and relatives still live there, and their health and safety is more important than Kristi Noems ignorance and arrogant pride. I stand with the CRST in their checkpoints decision.

I see absolutely no reason why traffic through the reservation cannot be restricted by the Sioux Tribes, this is their land - just as I personally can block passage/trespassing on my own property. Leave them alone, they are not contributing to he problem, they are helping contain it.
