As a current Chinese high school student. the worst part of gaokao is how competitive it is. Chinese students work incredibly hard and the learning environment is extremely intense. Middle and high schools in China are 15+hrs every day 6 days a week on average. And everyone studies after skl leading to limited hours of sleep. On sundays and holidays everyone goes to extra classes 8+hrs a day not including the extra work they do at home. I’m only g10 and a lot of people around me skip lunch to save time to study, everyone studies in the 10min between classes and you can constantly see people doing homework as they walk to the canteen. Mental and physical problems are very common among students. It’s really stressful and tiring.

Note :- In JEE ADVANCED we don't know the paper pattern, no.of que, type of que, marking scheme we know that at the time of examination ☠️

Fact - you can give gaokao untill your last breath and in jee you got 2 chance only

The Jee exam may look nearly difficult to Gaokao, but the jump for a student from 12th standard (last class before undergraduation) to directly JEE syllabus (taking into consideration that the 12th exam doesn't even include nearly 50 percentage of JEE Advanced syllabus as it may have questions on a very simple topic but use a theorem taught at college level 💀 so every student prepares for both 12th exam and JEE parallelly and you can only give this EXAM TWICE IN YOUR WHOLE LIFE) is UNMATCHED to any exam at any Level of academics

Gaokao:High competition
Good level questions

Both exams are very difficult to crack, you need to study hard for JEE in able to cope with the level of questions, whereas for Gaokao you need to study well, enough to cope with the competition.
Students have lots of pressure while giving any of these exams, for Gaokao, it's extreme as your future is pretty much dependent on it and it is the only exam for top unis.
Jee definitely does it job finding engineering oriented students, Gaokao on the other hand is really vast

As an Indian, I can say both exams are harder, but someone from china who has nothing to with science, for say commerce students...tsking GaiKao is a nightmare. All the best for their future!!

I tried them both xD….. considering the bewildering difficulty of both paper, I’d say, jee adv is an eensy weensy more difficult mainly cuz they increase the difficulty of the more than one correct answer mcq s. Gaokao is damn hard too. I can confidently say, I ain’t scathing either lmao…..

JEE adv is undoubtedly harder. You are forgetting a major thing, which is reservations. Even out of the 5000 seats, 60% are reserved for sc/st and obc.

id say pause and look at the questions JEE advanced questions genuinely look horrible while gaokao questions seem shorter and easier. Both exams are difficult but JEE also has 0.1 percent acceptance and negative markings which make u scared to even attempt a question you’re not so sure about

My brother got 2500 sumn rank in JEE advanced 2022 and all he said was that “it’s not that hard if ur consistent” he did consistently study for 9+ hrs every day for over 18 months and i can def say adv is prob the toughest exam in india rn

There is no negative marks in Gaokao, wide choice of subjects unlike jee advanced confined PCM . So Gaokao is not tougher than jee. May be the subjective questions level higher but time allows in Chinese exam is more it again make easier side in comparison of jee.
