This is called "narcissist math." When their vindictiveness overcomes their logic. For example, my insane land lady installed a power-saving thing that turns off the lights automatically in the hallway. We have only two light in the hallway, it's a small building. She probably spent thousands to save a few bucks a month. And then she was unplugging the lights outside which is illegal. She goes insane when we use AC even though we agreed to pay 40 bucks a month extra so she's getting more than enough. The pettiest woman I've ever known.

I was with my ex for 5 years. She kicked me out one day when I finally just refused her bullshit. I went back to my house I had refused to sell (thank God I wasn't a complete moron). She continued contacting me constantly and I grayrocked her. Met my wife and the way she acted and treated me actually shocked the hell out of me. She is kind, respectful, and supportive. We have a son and our dream home together. Honestly no idea where the ex is or what she's doing just as long as she isn't around me. The best revenge is living well.

I wonder if this guy ever asked if she had done this before in a past relationship. My ex had an issue with holding onto past partners, aka the friend zone. Not to mention, would take no accountability for her actions. She had a habit of leading others on, while dating someone else. Her past consisted of getting drunk and sleeping with her ex partners best friend. Did he know? Nope, did he continue trying to get her attention? Yep, sad really People change, right? No they don’t, they become better at lying and covering things up. Not saying people don’t, some just never learn to come clean and honest.
