Here I Am: Maurine reports from Global Fund advocates meeting in Amsterdam

Maurine Murenga has been engaged with a wide range of activities focusing on HIV treatment, human rights, HIV communication and provision of care and support to young women and adolescent girls living with HIV. As an advocate and patient, she is calling for a fully funded Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Maurine, who lives openly with HIV, is the coordinator of Lean on Me -- an organization that provides comprehensive care and support to young women and adolescent girls living with HIV. She is also a member of the Gender Technical Committee on HIV/AIDS in Kenya.
