Journalist Maureen Callahan and Kinsey Schofield discuss the Kennedy family's pattern of abuse and exploitation towards women, in Maureen's new book 'Ask Not: The Kennedys and the Women They Destroyed'.

From Marilyn Monroe being a public humiliation for Jackie Kennedy, to whether Marilyn's death was even a suicide... was it orchestrated by the Kennedys with her premature death at 36?

For decades, the Kennedy name has been synonymous with wealth, power, and—above all else—integrity. But this carefully constructed veneer hides a dark truth: the Kennedy men's legacy of physical and psychological abuse of women, part of a tradition of toxic masculinity that spans generations and has ruined untold lives. Through scandal after scandal, the family and their defenders have managed to keep this shameful story out of the spotlight.

Maureen and Kinsey also discuss Meghan Markle's potential political ambitions and how they may impact Prince Harry's re-entry into the British royal family. It is said that Meghan Markle is 'scratching so desperately' in efforts to be culturally relevant.

It's the Kennedy arrogance, not a curse, in my opinion.

Joseph Kennedy, Sr. was a dreadful role model for his sons.

The Kennedys’ sense of entitlement, their behavior, their treatment of women… Just despicable!

The Kennedy are a perfect example of how abusive behavior rattles down through the generations of a family.

I see no curse but their own arrogance that they are above the law

I wish someone of Maureen’s caliber would write about the lies and machinations of Meghan and Harry both before they ever met through now.

Please correct me if I am wrong but wasn't a Kennedy award given to proven liars - The Sharkles for racism in the Monarchy. Shame on the liars and the people who gave the award

The story of Rosemary Kennedy breaks my heart; I used to admire the Kennedy family so much but am now so disgusted.

With Rosemary, Joe couldn't control her. She refused to be cowed. But in the end Joe won. As usual.

Has anyone asked the good citizens of SUSSEX how THEY feel about their Duke and Duchess-in-Absentia?!

her book is amazing. It’s the best Kennedy book I’ve ever read. It is so honest. It makes so much sense. I’m waiting for the Harry and Meghan book. If she writes a book it’s going to be a good one.

I don't think the Kennedys would be able to get away with what they did in the sixties and before if it was happening now .

Maureen has said publicly that there is no Kennedy curse. She has written about their poor choices, their disrespect and disregard for others, especially women, and the consequences that followed. That is essentially what they brought on themselves.

Maureen has already responded to this question about the Kennedy curse. She has said there is no such thing it has more to do with their recklessness and ego
