When i was in hs, some so called rich kids would make fun of our clothes because they were not ton sur ton, benneton, and other stuff.

I had my own style and i didnt care what they thought.

The catholic schools had uniforms.

Its nice when they wore uniforms because it looks classier. However some kids cant wear the uniform fabrics.

I like your stand on uniform. Here in Malaysia we also have uniform and it's nice seeing people wearing the same and just look in a group. Of course, things could be in a heat but it's not like we have to wear it the whole day. Uniform also make you feel you become something bigger than yourself. All just proper, nice and good. In 🇹🇷Türkiye, public schools must have uniforms, but each schools principal is choosing uniforms for their school. In private schools, the owner of the school chooses the rule that the students must wear uniform or not. If the owner wants uniform, he/she designs it. And, I'm a 5th grader with my private school English (🪐Bilfen Schools) in Türkiye🇹🇷

I went to Soviet Union sponsored school in my country, my uniform was olive green pant and shirt with 2 shades pant is darker by 2 shades and then low cut all purpose boot and belt and cap with red star hat and on pocket we had that lapel also.

Had pioneer camps etc also taught by folks from USSR, GDR, and at times SFR Y, Cuba etc.

We have school informs in Australia still its a good idea, albeit our uniforms are all different depending on region and school but yeah still better than casual clothing
