places like alaska, the arctic and antarctic will got months with just day time or just night time.
and even if you don't know that. the summer solstice is referred to as the longest day of the year, and the winter solstice as the longest night. during the summer, days are longer, during the winter, nights are longer

For the esports athlete controversy: honestly I just always though of them as players, ya know? Like oh yes this player from this team on overwatch, you get the term. They are playing a game. However I don’t know if I would personally call them athletes? I love video games, grew up around them and everything. The players of the esport obviously have a skill, but they aren’t physically running and jumping and so forth, so I consider them very very talented and skilled players of a game, not necessarily athletes. Hats off to anyone in the esports community though, they work hard at what they love and I couldn’t be happier fo them :)) competitive esports isn’t something I partake in, so maybe I just don’t fully understand it, but that’s my take on what X33N brought up in the stream

Lol I was gonna say but he caught himself, where I live we have perpetual light in the summer, with no darkness but a little twilight for a hour and then 3 hours of daylight in the dead of winter... Borrow (has a name I can't spell) Alaska has over a month of no daylight in the winter
