After a Fiery Hearing, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle Resigns

The assassination attempt on Donald Trump in Butler, Pa., is the Secret Service's biggest failure in a generation, but when Congress calls its director to testify on Capitol Hill, she doesn't offer many substantive answers. What are some of the biggest questions that remain?

The Directer never even visited the site of the assassination attempt. Nine days pass and she never thought of going to see where all this happened.

According to media reports, one example of a message being relayed to the Secret Service required about fifteen minutes before confirmation that the message had been received was sent. The notion that _any kind of relay protocol_ would ever be appropriate or sufficient in the event of a crisis is absurd.

So what of the team of SS men and women who were there, why did they not have control of the situation in real life and time? Everyone of them were neglectful of what the job entails. They didn’t perform their duties. So should they not also be held responsible? Or Wtf?

We'll not know the whole truth, but we'll get the likely scape goat. After her performance in the congressional hearing resignation was the right move.

Anybody wonder about her strange demeanor and lack of facial expression? I mean she shows no remorse, sorrow or any empathy. she’s like a robot. Very bizarre and strange. If I were taking that grilling, I would be cringing and probably crying.

Just here to spread some love. So she made mistakes. It's no one's place to tear her down. She's a human just like the rest of us. We're all here having this human experience. love for fellow humans will take us much farther than hate.
