The game of Basketball has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I grew up as a kid watching my dad's recorded VHS tapes of playoff games through the 70s and 80s, and collected all the Basketball cards. Something about the game and what it represents just hooked me from a very young age.
My love for the game only continues to grow as time goes on. I love studying and analyzing the game, with an unbiased perspective. Feel free to subscribe, follow me on social media, and celebrate this amazing game and it's rich history with me!
I post videos every week on NBA history, predictions, hypothetical scenarios and current NBA topics.

The 2006 Mavericks weren't "trying to contain the Big Diesel", they were "breathing too hard in Dwayne Wade's general direction".

The thing I wanna know is why Dirk had so many techs? I've always thought he was a more mellow player compared to others.

Stop shooting threes oh Lebron,
My heart can't bear another one.
Please take it to the basket,
I don't want our lead to plummet.

You're a king with a powerful drive,
Your layups and dunks keep us alive.
But when you stand behind the line,
I fear our victory won't shine.

Your shooting percentage is low,
And our team's confidence starts to go.
Please don't let us down in this game,
We need you to drive us to fame.

Stop shooting threes oh Lebron,
I know you can lead us on.
Take it to the basket and score,
And our fans will cheer forevermore.

I had always heard that the Trent Tucker rule is also called that because Tucker was generally thought to have the fastest release of any player in the NBA at the time, and in the offseason they brought him in and timed a bunch of his releases and found that he couldn't do it faster than 0.3 seconds. Not sure if it's true, but that's what I always heard.

As a Pistons fan who saw Grant Hill play with my own two eyes during his time in Detroit, Johnny is spot on. He was an absolute beast. He got the most votes to start in the All-Star game (more than Jordan) and at least here in Detroit you couldn’t go anywhere without seeing people his Fila Grant Hill shoes. Those were the days lol.. but great content and great channel!

there was no dunk contest, but wilt dunked from the free throw line back in the 50s in college in the summer by taking only 2-3 steps, and not any real running start and why they made the rule about having to release the ball while standing behind the free throw line
