Similar to a snail or a turtle, when the wild bocchi feels threatened it retreats into a small enclosed environment to protect itself from harm. It could stay in this environment for several hours, only then will it attempt to leave for food or to go to the bathroom.

back in college, I worked in orientation which as an introvert was highly taxing. I used to sleep or just hide during break or down time in the most curious places. The staff kitchen underneath the counters, underneath my staff desk with my legs sticking out, in a crevice behind the front desk cabinet, all sorts of places, and this reminds me of that lol
