As a child the whole family would sit down to watch the Irish Rovers after church on Sunday Evenings ... and we are Finnish😆💚☘️

About a week ago I left Germany and embarked on a tour through England, starting in Birmingham, later Nottingham, then Southampton. The official reason for my stay was to attend a conference (for youtubers) in Nottingham, then meet a number of video makers and tinkerers throughout the UK. An unofficial reason for my stay was to visit some of the oldest pubs in England (The OId Crown, Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem etc). Everything went well for the first six days and I ended up in various pubs on every evening. But the day after that a number of people who attended the conference reported that they were feeling ill. And I soon found out I had caught Covid. Unfortunately I will now have to stay in my hotel room for the rest of my stay in England and can't meet anyone else. And here I am all alone, thinking back to my teenage days (some 20 years ago) when we used to listen to Irish folk music all the time. One of my all-time favorites is Finnegan's Wake in this version (by you guys)! Back then I was often thinking about visiting Ireland, but never made it. Now that I'm sitting here by myself, I think that my next trip should be to Ireland as I planned so many years ago...

I was born in the late fall of 1978. I was given The Unicorn Record Album by the Handsome, Charming, Entertaining, Funny, Legendary and Extremely Talented Singers and Musicians, The Irish Rovers when I was four. I still have it! I later bought The Unicorn Record Album on CD! This is the first time I have ever heard this Awesome or Seen this Awesome Video! I love it! The Irish Rovers should be Knighted back in the 1980's and should be Now!

I love this song well most of the irish songs some great memories from my childhood iam dutch but when it was autum my father would always put an old record or cassete with irish music get out some cards he would have a beer me and my sister some hot chocolat and would have the best evenings . And iam verry happy to say i passed on the tradition as we still play cards and always have irish music and songs in the background.
