Just a tip. When framing a door. I like to leave the bottom plate bolted to the ground all the way across the opening and then before you mount the door cut down with the oscillating saw and pry up the cut piece. This way it’ll keep your walls in a straight line

i like that you didn't add a typical screen door, and the one you used really dresses it up!

That’s a lot of work……and in the heat! It turned out awesome. Thanks for sharing.

I think it looks awesome and you did a fantastic job. There is nothing like having a screened in porch.

This is awesome and I bet in the future if you were to actually make that into a full blown 4 season sunroom it wouldn’t take much to make that happen

Excellent work sir

Your left foot was forward and you twisted at the waist, leaning slightly forward/sideways while lifting…standing directly in front of what you’re lifting will help; no twisting at the waist. Beautiful job!

Helpful video! And man, I’ve pulled too many back muscles just like you. I used to stretch so often and was always confused about my muscle tightness. It’s because of weakness. If you can begin doing light deadlifts/ rows/ anything to engage a large amount of musculature in your back, I promise you’ll feel a lot safer moving around

Great job. I have a similar area I'm looking to screen in and this was a big help.

If you're taking adderall (since you mentioned it in the video), make sure you hydrate and eat properly even if you're not feeling hungry. Decreased thirst and appetite are side effects of stimulants like adderall.

In regards to the injury, its important to avoid simultaneous spinal flexion and rotation. So just try to face the direction you plan to reach or lean to.

Awesome. I have a front patio and would like to screen it in. The mosquitos love me so I don't get to enjoy sitting out on it. Thanks for upload.

Looks great! And you're right about its not structural! So I don't have to worry about how mines enclosed! Just makes it less stressful looking at it like that!

Very nice work 👍 I need one myself ASAP. I think it's so amazing you did this yourself, kudos.

Kidney stone moved and felt like you hurt your back.

So excellent screen porch. I got a quote from a screen company yesterday for $12, 000!! I have brick columns and need to figure out all I’ll need to tackle this job myself. I’m looking forward to it. .. I don’t have all the tools I’ll need but I’ll get there. Thanks for the video which is a big help!!

Beautiful and no bugs or snakes! I used to live in DFW area of Texas and because of the dry heat, sitting in the shade is very different than sitting in the direct sun. Tolerable most of the year. Thanks for sharing! :)

Regarding your pain, there are food High in Oxalates. Oxalates are like little crystal shards that cause congestion and pain. For example, potatoes are High in Oxalates. If you eat a lot of potatoes or other high Oxalates foods you can and will be in pain. Good Luck on finding out the real cause 🙏 all the best ✨

Cool video. Might try myself. Our back moves several directions: side to side, twist, front and back. Any time a movement combines one or more movement, chance of injury compounds. Doctor told me that. Cheers.
