People, stop complaining about it being "too basic". This video is perfect for someone like me who needs these kinds of lessons. Not everyone will get use out of it, but some will. Understand that.

I’m not saying that “this video is too easy” but the fact that I knew everything she was saying made me really happy, it just comes to show that the more you practice the better you’ll remember it. I knew this video was going to be slightly easy but I watched it anyways and I’m glad I did.
For everyone reading this I wish you the bestest of luck in your journey, and right now it may seem hard but trust me you’ll get it sooner than you think. ☺️✨

you know, it's good that you almost exclusively use japanese symbols here, it forces me to actually learn them.

Why is everyone complaining that it's 'too basic'? It literally says it in the title that it's just the basics. Just because it's too 'basic' for you doesn't mean that it's useful. Sometimes it's good to revisit the basics, so stop complaining. If it's too easy for you, go onto one of the numerous intermediate videos on YouTube. People like me appreciate these videos that go over the basics, so stop calling them useless. They're not.

I really can't read kanji so I just rely on small hiragana in the top of the kanji words😂

This is so weird. I was trying to say "Watashi wa Ken desu" out loud for practice cause its my name then this video literally used Ken as an example. Wholesome moment.

If you put on English autogenerated subtitles
When they say "Nice to meet you." in Japanese it says
"Hazama Mistake".

I love the guy’s voice. It pretty laid back and fun to listen to.

This comments section is hilarious. There are a few people asking for some more advanced lessons and everyone is acting like they're asking for all the beginner level lessons to be deleted. Calm down! They just want more, not less. Nobody is asking for the beginner level stuff to go away.

Thank you!! I'm self teaching myself Japanese, finished learning Hiragana and Katakana months and months ago, and has been continuously working on kanji and sentence structure/grammar. This has really helped! Its simple, and it shows how they work and it shows other ones along with to what to place when building a sentence. I've been confused for the longest time ever about sentence structure! It seemed so difficult. Now I'm able to understand how to make my own sentences!

Here's a tip for people who wants to study Japanese. Before going into grammar, i recommended you to memorize a bunch of vocabulary first, it makes learning the grammar a lot easier and smoother.
I would recommend around 5, 000 vocabularies for you to memorize.
Dont worry, Japanese vocabularies are usually easy as there are lots of English loan words. Like パイロット(pilot)、トイレ(toilet)
