I’m 29. I thought I would have my own business. Married with kids... God is a comedian but I’m not laughing... I’m unemployed almost finished writing my first novel. Lonely and confused with my life. Stressed. I dream big; the set backs are real but in mazelee video the other day she quoted her husband saying. “ God can only work with the amount of faith you have.” That struck my soul so I’m going out only on faith and praying got put me in the right places to get the things I want. 1. To be a successful author. 2. Marry a good looking faithful man (in my eyes) like Joseph in the Bible. 3. Children 4. A life without financial worries 5. To be blissfully Happy

I do understand how you feel. I remember watching Oprah when I was younger, on one episode she spoke about different age for different stage of your life; 20's is make to make mistakes, explore, travel etc.. 30's now you learn from your mistakes and you work on your goals and dreams, 40's you are more settle, don't take no ish from nobody and is more stable, 50's YOUR life begin... I stopped crying that day (20's) and started doing more mistakes, I still do today but I catch myself more quickly. Don't worry Maya, your King will come in time. I'm single but happier than before THANK GOD!!!!

My only concern about the whole "I'm really busy so I'm doing online dating" this is... well, if you don't have time to meet someone now, how will you actually have time for the relationship itself? Maya thank you for being transparent you just changed my perspective on AGE. It really is just a number. You literally are ageless I feel like you got stuck at 25 forever (physically). This is encouraging for me approaching 25. Growing up doesn’t mean you’re old or life stops. It’s taking care of yourself, joy, resilience, and perspective on life that keeps you young! When i was in my teens i thought that i'll be married and had at least one child by age 25....I'm 30 now....single and no pickney. Dating...just thinking about it makes me roll my eyes....ughhhh. She jokes a lot but she figured out how to optimize her profile to REALLY match her values for a potential husband and basically talks about how being picky/specific can be a good thing.
