Great video. Maxed out my Pluck of Many, added sparks to Azure Dust, and put the rest of my points in survival and a couple in Thrust stance.

Followed the video (and used the maxed out Wandering Wight headbutt once per fight) and beat him on my 3rd try. Level 59 overall.

OMG FINALLY I BEAT HIM, I used my pluck of many, then azure dust, then spam dodged with the occasional thrust stance or light attack for damage then used pluck of many and azure dust again to finish him off (I also fully upgraded my pluck of many and mostly upgraded my transformation too). Nice video!

I love this game but some of the bosses are just straight bullshit. They get super armor, lighting fast attacks, delay their attacks, long 10 string strikes that jolt ur camera, large area of attack moves, and insta grabs. Its impossible for someone to beat them first try. And u cant really read patterns because u CANNOT BLOCK. So you are guaranteed to get hit. Its soo cheap! I wish the game had a block button like ninja gaiden. Thank you for the tips

Oh my god. That was so insane. I finally beat this. Level 52 though. I tried every single strategy, even this. In the end. All I did was just straight up go all out offensive and trained myself to dodge almost everything. And I won like that. No strands. No immobilize. Just pure attacking and dodging. That was insane. I spent 3 hours on this boss. :(

Finally beat this boss after I saw a video showing how much damage unveiling strike can actually do if you max it out with the right gear.. did it 3 times and also wore see no evil headband to perfect dodge his attacks easier … the ashen slumber also did quite a lot of damage

I finally found something that worked.

I supplemented the weight while I started my initial clone attack. Then I used the clone step once to buy time to heal and use my clones later in the fight. Didn't even have to use the Rock a second time.

If you can get the spellbinder spell and respark to max it out that shit melts him especially wit heavy attacks. Just beat him 😅(after a few tries)

Thanks for your tip on clones - never thought it helped!
i used a different setup, after >30 clone deaths. ring of fire + HP/MP drink = loads of heals

1. start with pluck of many > distract for 2x lv3 charge smash
2. cloud step to hide and lv3 charge smash. (charge crit rate + helps other spell cooldowns)
3. transform to stone to buy time/ smack him around a bit.
4. ring of fire for heals/ survival + wind tamer for survival + 3x snake turrets
5. cloud step ready again for charge smash.
6. gourd heal not even used once, and he is down to 30% hp or less.
7. duke it out with another ring of fire. probably get smacked around while drinking gourd.
8. if you are lucky, another cloud step > charge smash.
9. i won by having 2nd stone transform, final hit with "1" attack, still lots of heals left.
