Application

Age Requirements
All producer and adjuster applicants, must be 18 years of age before taking an examination. Bail Agents applicants must be 21 years of age.

Prelicensing Course
All applicants should complete the prelicensing course before taking the state examination.

Identification (ID) Requirements
2 forms of ID are required of ALL exam candidates at the test center. The first and last name on the ID must match exactly the first and last name on all IDs and on the registration. Both IDs must be originals, valid and not expired. One ID must contain name, photograph, and signature. The second ID must contain name and signature. Candidates who do not present two forms of ID will be turned away from testing and lose their fees.

Examination scheduling information
Please VERIFY that you have created your web account with your LEGAL name as it appears on your government-issued ID and that your personal information is CORRECT. Contact Pearson VUE immediately to correct the spelling of your name or update your personal information if you notice any errors. It is very important that this information is correct, as it will appear as it was entered on the documentation provided to you after you have completed the exam, as well as on any reports to your licensing agency.

Appointments may be made up to one calendar day prior to the day you wish to test, subject to availability. You may schedule your exam online or over the phone by contacting customer service.
