Chef Brown you are describing my husband. He didn't like seafood. Shimps, Oyster, mussels and other were out of the question. For year he refused to eat seafood and I enjoyed everything by myself until last year he started asking me to let him tried the seafood in my plate now we both enjoyed the delicious seafood dishes. After 20 years he discovered that his deep fried fish was Red Snaper, that I cooked with soy sauce and his favorite beef or Short rib soup had lentins as part of the ingredients he was speechless. " I can't believe you"', " You are laying to me". Mommy always to said "what they don't know won't hurt them" Thank you for your Thanksgivings recipes. In my country we don'tcelebrate Thanksgiving and my husband gave me a lectured about how all the women in United State learned how to cook that great feast since they are young with their grand mothers and mothers that I couldn't do it. He put the red flag in front of the bull and after watching you making "No your mother green beans", Turkey, Cranberry, biscuit and others of your delicious recipe I showed him with a great teacher you are able to learn to do anything. After he finished eating he asked How? I told him "I only needed to watch Chef Alton Brown cooking his thankgivings dishes" Thank you very much your are a excellent teacher. Please forgive any error in my english. God Bless you.
