Is flushing your engine safe? Experience?

I've used Motor Medic flush for the first time a few days ago in an oil change. Put it in a used and abused '97 Hyundai Accent.
Before, the engine felt very very slow. Even putting the clutch in, it'd take a while for the RPMs to drop.
Once I used just half a bottle of the motor flush, I could tell just how much of a difference it had helped. The engine felt almost new, you could definitely tell it helped just by driving for a couple minutes.
I'll definitely be using it from now on, couldn't recommend it more.

This experiment is very poorly done. Have you forgotten the basic scientific method? What you should have done is taken a sample of the oil before adding the engine flush, then add that engine flush, then take another sample and then compare the two. Also, this does _not_ answer the question about whether it is safe or not. This video was completely useless for me. All you showed was that there was contaminates in the oil, which is a given.

Just dont flush the car with a hot engine. Wake up in the morning and follow directions like the bottle says. I learned my lesson the hardway and left my engine with a shake which was probably a bad piston ring for flushing it hot.

Can you do another one of the motor medic? This time do two oil samples. One before and then one after. Please and thank you

That’s the flush I use on my turbo spec v that I mentioned in one of your vids. It makes my motor super quiet within a couple minutes and I never noticed any issues on any of my cars, turbo or non turbo it’s been a good exp and I always do it hot not cold, I think cold won’t be efficient .

It is not trans fluid. Yes it works unless the engine is already so gunked up that solids get dislodged and clog up smaller passages. For example if the car has not had an oil change for very long time, then you have to manually clean it by taking it apart. Otherwise, these flushes are a godsend and I use them on all by bmws. After using flush, I can feel and see performance restored.

Subaru and mechanics I know do not recommend this in Subaru boxer engines. For 50 years I have been using Marvel Mystery Oil per their instructions in my engine. Add as directed with new oil, I always put this in after half the oil. I would rather prevent gunk and stuff then flush it out afterwards. All of my engines run smooth and have never found any particulates...

Throwing this stuff in a 07 Dodge Grand Caravan with 185k miles on it tomorrow along with new tie rods. Oil pan is leaking already so going to pull the pan off to install a new gasket on it. I expect to see all kinds of gunk in it. Van currently doesn’t burn any oil still and doesn’t feel like it’s down on power. Noisy on cold start-up though. Hoping to get another 50k miles out of it.
