This update is outstanding. I'm lost for words. It has been a joy to use so far.

I just did the update and I am lost. I'll get used to it. But man.... It's totally different. I love being able to demo plugins before purchase. That's amazing.

What an easy update! MPC downloaded it by itself via WiFi. Been staying off the beta, just now had the first look at v3. I was afraid the overhaul would take some getting used to, but it was very intuitive. Great work and huge thanks to the whole team & testers who worked on this. MPC user since year 2000. Live is my 6th MPC.

I ordered a Mpc key61 because of this new update. I just couldn’t vibe with the old software in my workflow & sold my live a year ago. My fist time RE-investing in a music product

For those of us who have been beta testing for months of course this is not new. NAMM 2025 starts next week and Akai has something happening on the 24th of Jan at NAMM so I'm sure we will be seeing much more info and this will be apart of a larger roll out of something new along side the 3.0 software.

The arranger still needs the midi data to be in some kind of clip like the audio I’ve sent many emails to akai from the beginning of the 3.0 beta about this they have had this arranger since the force !!! But don’t get me wrong the rest of this update is amazing !!!

When I updated my MPC Live 2 from beta to the official MPC 3 release, I found out that the stem separation was included. I never bought that feature. But im happy to have to on my Live 2. 😊

Be careful about library " favorites". You will generally, not be able to play the sounds, you have placed in this library. Akai changed the positions of the sounds in v.3.4, some don't exist anymore (at least I didn't find them), there are new sounds... All in all, you will have to create a new
" favorites library". Procedure of adding sounds to this library has changed.
I had a library that consisted of 8 pages, now I have to do it all again.
It should have been pointed out somewhere!!!

Retailers like Sweetwater making a video about it means the official MPC 3.0 (currently in beta) launch is imminent, expect a NAMM announcement from Akai. Also, Akai will likely launch a new product in the coming week, by many referred to as the "mini MPC".

MPC 3 has some great features, like the new main view and the expanded mixer. But they killed the legacy MPC workflow and the MPC itself, which is a bummer. Now it's more of a force with some MPC features, and that's it. I think it's a big middle finger to all the producers who have used MPC for decades. It seems like Akai is focusing on the new user base that comes from FL Studio, etc.

All very nice .... BUT... can you change the time

I bought the Akai 61 Key when it first came out, It is so time consuming you spend more time doing everything but actually Producing Music So I'm getting a Roland Fantom instead it's awesome 👍

If the game is finding workarounds for missing functions and bugs, then you’re spot on.

But V3 has been available for months and it's currently Beta 3. Where's the info, is it now an "official" non-beta version?
