I think what the MPC needs unironically is to just go all the way and let you plug a computer mouse into the USB slot.

As much as I appreciate the quirks of the MPC2 workflow, I personally found so much of it needlessly complicated. To the team that have worked on MPC3, thank you SO much. Yours sincerely Cubase/Logic user.

I love this company dude. I started with Native Instruments/maschine mikro and was all in since 2011. But they never listen to us or do anything. Got a live 2 in 2020 and it’s just constant updates and progress. AND THEY LISTEN TO US!

I bought the first gen MPC Live 7 years ago this month. I genuinely cannot remember the last time I purchased any piece of hardware and had 7 full years worth of software updates to accompany it outside of video game consoles and windows PCs.

genuinely one of the best music purchases I've ever made. can't wait to see what the devs cook up next

This video is absolutely the best I’ve seen on MPC 3. In depth, detailed and great quality. Thank you.

To be honest, I bought the MPC Live as soon as it came out. And the software that is being developed here is blowing my mind

This is mind-blowing for two reasons: 1. it's like a completely new instrument, 2. how the heck are they squeezing out processing power from this rather dated system. Thanks for this video - looking forward to this update, and I'll be carrying on recommending new MPC line instruments to whoever ask

As always, loopop demystifies the adaptation we dread and even makes us curious about which direction our projects shall go using this evolved environment. Thanks, Pal!🤩

That's a lot to take in. The MPC just became a huge standalone production and performance tool now. You could always do a whole track but there is so much streamlined workflow and quality of life improvements like streaming. This makes me want a larger MPC now like the X.

Great video and great update! My only need so far is to get the clip mode back, it s absolutly fundamental for live performace based on improvisation, which is my case. Thanks to loopop for all your wonderful videos

There are too many excellent changes to mention that I'm excited for. Thanks for the run down. 8 layers on a drum pad saves a lot of hassle when building velocity layered pads

Thanks for comparing MPC 3 to MPC 2. I was just getting adjusted to the old workflow and, bam! Thrown for a loop. Thanks for the help.

Thank you for a slick and thorough review. Great work as always!
I think this is an impressive update for the MPC OS. For me, the unavailability of an arrangement view always kept me from finally moving from Maschine to MPC but now AKAI have added it, along with other great improvements. MPC Key 37 with the MPC 3 OS now looks close to perfect.

This is going to hurt Native Instruments, but they only have themselves to blame by stopping investment in the Maschine platform.
