Strange that doctor says there's only two colors of poop you need to worry about, red or black. White/Pale/Clay color poop is a sign of Hepatitis C. So I would be careful of what you believe from TV show docs.

Who doesn't look at their poop? It's the highlight of my day to see what I made in the toilet every morning!

I never looked at my poop until this week when I was taken by ambulance and ended up in the hospital for 5 days because every time I stood up I fainted. It seems that I had some internal bleeding that I would have know about if I just looked at my poop. I ended up getting a blood transfusion consisting of 4 units of blood and several iron infusions as well. I was told that I was lucky not to have had my heart stop, have had damage to internal organs and told that I was so sick that I could have died (at 53 years old). I will never again neglect to look at my poop.

I had green poop this morning and here is why... so today I had a bowl of boo berry cereal at 7 a.m.... I only have water and my high blood pressure pill at 8:30 after that. from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. I had one half bottle of water and nothing to eat while putting in a vanity sink for someone. I then came home at 2:30 and I had a chicken salad sandwich at 3, at 3:30 I went over to a friend's house and his wife gave me two heaping dishes of spaghetti with marinara sauce and meatballs. I then had two pieces of candy and a brownie 15 minutes after that. I went out for a few hours with some friends and then got Wendy's and had six chicken nuggets and french fries. I came home with a massive stomach ache my stomach was so bloated I believe it was my bile pushing through my system too fast for so much food in a short period. Then I took two yellow greenish Gas-X pills before I went to bed. Wallah .... the next morning green poop.

i disagree with the pretty young lady to a point. it’s important to know how your poops looks as a health guide, but it causes a lot of stress if you’re already having problems. a lot of stress, and that can make this worse on its own.
unfortunately i speak from experience.

My poop and my bowls as a whole definitely improved for the better as soon as I stopped eating all and any dairy, as well as breads, high sugar, and high salt.

Quit dairy and you will feel better instantly. It made bathroom time smell less foul. Dairy on a SEMI regular basis made the bathroom smell like 5 outhouses, the smell was sticky and stuck around for 2 hours with the fans roaring!

No dairy and the smell was much much more tolerable. Having said that, a more frequent vegetarian and vegan diet, even if vegetarian with out dairy, the smell at first was the worst, ever, of all time.

Rice, oatmeal, tomato, all fruits, nuts and all veggies, makes me feel most regular and lighter...
