I had a 50 year old Ekornes chair, in very good condition, that I gifted to my sister. I sat in that chair nearly every day for 20 years and loved it. My brother-in-law has been sitting in it for the past 3 years and said he loves it. Ekornes Stressless is truly worth every penny, considering the level of quality, comfort and support they provide.

What's that one behind you, on your left? It looks like it might work for my frame.

Give a demonstration of the functionality of your chairs; let the product speak for itself. Reclining chairs are like buying a mattress; seeing in store is only good for examination of size, functionality, structure etc... As far as actually using them, a one time store try-out means nothing; a 30 day test period evaluation, is the best way to find out if it's going to work for one as far as size, comfort, adjustability etc..; especially for the high price of some recliners.

My $4000 Stressless chair needs all foam replaced $400, the chair is not yet seven years old and this is the second time for the headrest. Friends have 20 year old Stressless chairs and they are great, the newer ones don’t have the durability. When you check reviews look at the more recent reviews quality has dropped incredibly.
