BERRY GORDY - The UNTOLD HIDDEN TRUTH!

A visionary, a talent developer & self-believer. We could go on & on but Berry Gordy Jr. was everything you could think of. To many, he was a God-Sent brought to save the people, the black people. In an era where it was common practice for white artists like Peggy Lee & Pat Boone to take songs from the black artists and make cover songs, Berry Gordy’s mission to challenge the status quo by putting the black artists on the map looked and seemed impossible. But as someone who was always a risk-taker & calculative in his moves, did the impossible and it turned out to be legendary.

I still to this day, find it UNBELIEVABLE that no one has done a movie or documentary on his life yet. He had one of the most successful music labels in music history and it was black owned. He introduced the world to an UPPER ECHELON of talents to have ever graced the entertainment industry. I hope that light bulb goes off in someone's head before he transitions this world so that he can see the appreciation of his contributions from those of us who will never get a chance to tell him personally.

The fact that Berry still alive in 2024 is incredible he’s a walking living breathing Library.. Crazy to think he was born the same year as Dr King reminds you the harsh Jim Crow era wasn’t really that long ago

He also favored Diana Ross over others because they were having sex. That is why she had preferential treatment over Martha Reeves, Mary Wilson, Florence Ballard, and Gladys Knight.

Seems his parents tack for business and management skills, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit and independence greatly led to their success that occurred during a period that witnessed tremendous Black empowerment that thrived under the system of segregation.

Can we say that Berry Gordy and a lot of ways was a captain of Savior for the poor black community that was talented that could not showcase their talent with true light because of the racism that was reflected in that era and Berry Gordy being a businessman and an intelligent man was able to go against all of that he was able to pull you know a lot of white big sex into Motown so they could listen to the music and the sound and identify with just a sensational talent of black people from the ghetto that were very talented and always and and that he was a genius at that it was a at that time and an era where you know it was hard for any person of color to you know be able to closely encounter and build a rapport with such people that felt that their classes on was too big to deal with any colored person and he you know he knocked that stereotype right now and got in with

With apologies to Pat Boone, you should never mention Pat Boone and Miss Peggy Lee in the same breath. Peggy Lee was cool before there was a word cool. She was an exceptional vocalist and she was a great songwriter. Peggy Lee could sing any song in her own inimitable way. Peggy Lee was years beyond a Pat Boone and certainly beyond in talent and intelligence than Berry Gordy.
