Join me today as I divulge my plant care strategy to grow HUGE & LONG Pothos leaves that take over your home! The common name for this plant is also called Devil’s Ivy. In this video, I explain a care regiment that makes this a plant that you could care for in your sleep!

This plant is EASY to grow and take care of! I explain my strategy as follows:

1. Up-Pot for maximum growth benefit
2. Establish a consistent watering and fertilization regiment
3. Proper lighting. More lighting = more growth…however, this plant can survive a variety of lighting regiments!
4. Prune & Propagate to encourage adventitious growth!

I will keep you posted on the propagations and other experiments with the stem cuttings in a future video! Let’s get planty!

i think pothos are overlooked, they might be common but they are so beautiful and resilient!

Its easy if you place your empty pot into the bigger one and back fill, then remove smaller pot and it will leave a perfect hole for your plant to go into. Try it next time it makes repotting easy. Blessings.

I just got a "rescue" Pothos from my office lobby. It was going to be thrown away so I took it home. Once I examined it, I discovered that it's pretty leggy, but it has huge leave. I got all of the materials I need to make a support pole and I'm going to repot and stake it and see if I can make it pretty and give it new life.

Hi, I'm new here. I started collecting different pothos that are seedlings-sized. That's all I could afford since I'm just a student that lives alone. They really do make me happy so I always interact with them. I hope someday I can make them fuller and grow this big! 🌱
Thank you for sharing your care tips! 💚

I know a lady in California that has a pothos that goes all around her kitchen I think it's a least 30 ft long, and she has it growing in a water filled vase. It's strange how it grows in water. I really don't know what she fertilizes it with. But it's really impressive.

The more sunlight my golden pothos gets, the more variegation I see with it. So beautiful the light yellow and green hues❤

I just stumbled across your channel for the first time today. I have to say I’ve seen such a magnificent pothos such as this! I just got several varieties of pothos this week. They are in 6” pots at the moment. But I definitely will be trying to stake at least one of them. I wanted to mention how right you are about good vibes for the plants. I had a very nice small collection of plants many years ago when my boyfriend at the time moved in. My pothos I trained it from the floor and it went back and forth on the ceiling beams. Well he was there less than a year and literally every plant I had died off! Even my beautiful pothos that is normally hard to kill. I did nothing different to my plants. But I swear his bad energy killed them all.

Thank you so much for this video. I've been using miracle grow soil for my houseplants for years. I've had people look down on me for doing so. My pothos are extremely healthy plants. You make me feel normal rather than shunned because I didn't spend $50 for some fancy bag of aroid mix. Now I gotta go watch all your other videos. 😊

All this time, I thought after cutting a stem, that I would have to place in water to let it root. I am glad I came across your page.
