Man Faces Judge In Attempted Kidnapping

You’re not even safe sitting at a goddamn red light in this city. There is sick pieces of sh!t everywhere, but I’m from Massachusetts- born & raised. I made the huge mistake of moving down here during the pandemic & the crime, guns, gang activity from nothing but a bunch of wannabe thugs, the amount of murders that happen on a daily basis… even car theft. My car was stolen right from outside my damn house. Again, I’m not naive. I know there’s bad everywhere. But down here, especially in the Charlotte/Gaston county areas is absolutely INSANE. Back home in Massachusetts we can leave our houses unlocked, go shopping in Walmart for an hour & leave our cars running if we want too, hell I’d never heard a random gunshot in my entire life up there. But literally my first night living here I heard a few. I was terrified for the longest time. Sadly, now I’m so used to hearing them they don’t even faze me. I came here April 2020. Finally got pregnant and had my son in July 2021. Over my dead body will i send him to any of the schools down here. I’ll be taking him back to Massachusetts where I KNOW he’ll 1. Be safe and 2. Actually get a good education. I don’t know what the hell it’s going to take, but something NEEDS to change down here. And FAST. These cities and counties are out of control
