Belt drive is a much more servicable design. When they say "there's less to go wrong" they actually mean there is less you can repair.

Just bought thie new lg combo and this thing is silent af. My washer is next to my living room in the hallway, and i never hear it. No shaking. I didn't buy it for this purpose, but i noticed it right away. I kept thinking it wasn't washing but it was running wonderfully❤

O sistema convencional é fixado no corpo da máquina de lavar, não no conjunto do motor pois desta maneira irá balançar mesmo. A LG fez isso proposital para dizer que o sistema direct drive é melhor mas atualmente se o motor convencional for inverter serão a mesma coisa.

The conventional is more faster than direct drive. the conventional system has belt and can pull hardly and faster.

bad shock absorbers on all lg drive direct. i have and new but no good

i have two electrolux washers, both conventional system, they are whisper quiet during tumbling (unlike that piece of crappy candy i had before the electrolux) tho during spin these things are extremly loud, tho they don't shake at all during most loads.

Actually, the extra vibration are good for getting debris out of fabric.

good, but conventional one is more servicable. is this test with wet clothes inside? if not so, the test may not represent the real vibration difference

Haw muche that cost to repair if reparation is available 😢 i prefer conventional is very good
