Interfacing NEMA 23 | NEMA 17 | NEMA 34 with TB6600 stepper motor driver

Показать описание
In this video I will be showing you how to connect any stepper motor requiring maximum 4 amps of current to a driver and Arduino. We will be using TB6600 stepper motor driver and a 12volt power supply. You can use these motors and drivers with some more modification in a 3d printer, cnc machines etc

How come you don't connect the ground of the Arduino?... and still works.

Do you have diy dtg driver kit for some of the Epson printers?

This driver is TB6600HG with 4.5A max output, where TB6600 is of 3.5A - 4A max output, For NEMA 23 3N-m which is high torque in its class, this mention driver in video is good.

I am just stock . My stepper motor isn't just moving (not rotating).

Video could have been more comprehensive to include setting the current required by the different motors. Leaving the default could be too high for the smaller NEMA 17 motors and too low for the NEMA 34. A comment on the voltage and step rate could be included in the next video. 12 Volts limits the step rates. Most 3D printer use 12 Volts. Table top engravers and smaller lasers use 24V. Larger devices with faster step rates often use 36, 48, or higher, but that would require a different stepper driver that can handle the higher voltage.

Great video, I was wondering if I can adjust the amount of volts and amps that comes out of the power supply if not do they make power supplies that have adjustable volt and amp output.

Hello at 3:02 there is a hole in the middle of the motor shaft. Is that a screw hole or what is that?
