It's MASSIVE! But is it worth it? Creality K2 Plus Review

I've been using the Creality K2 Plus for 3 months now. Has it been worth it? Let's take a look!

You have a great speaking voice, and the professionalism and flow of someone who has been doing this for years. I might recommend investing in a proper teleprompter if your channel begins to take off, as I can see the reflection of your script in the glass of the printer, and can just barely make it out in where your eyes are looking, which could be distracting for some viewers. It doesn't bother me, just something to think about. Additionally, just for some insight into the algorithm, if you are interested, I view a lot of 3D printing content, and saw this recommended on my front page at what is right now 61 views, so it seems like you are doing something right with either your title, description, or the automatically generated transcript of your video. That Batman suit is an AMAZING advertisement for a first video by the way. At 6:36, you mention filament runout causing print quality issues. I know you mentioned that printer doesn't have a problem with switching spools, but one solution for your other printers, if you ever end up with some some half used spools, is combining them using a filament welder. you can buy them online but building them yourself is also feasible. Great videos! Some advice, if you will, from a fellow creator:
1. Cheap aliexpress mini-keyboards (which have 2 buttons and a rotary knob) work great as teleprompter control.
2. Neewer makes a great tp for ipad mini/large iPhone, and it costs like 20 USD
3. Despite how it seems, you're more important than K2. People can see printer on other channels -- but they only can see you on yours. Put yourself in front of it, that way you both get more attention (which you obviously deserve) and some nice bokeh.
4. Rode wireless go is great, but you don't need fluffy inside the studio. It's only for wind supression.
5. Oh, and even a cheap condenser mike with usb sounds a lot better than even a good lavalier.
6. Finally, something I sruggle with too. Try not to move too much, or the video feels juttery.
There, hope you won't take this advice as some kind of agression. I`m just trying to help you reach your well-deserved subs and popularity!

Thanks for the review. I use Sunlu a lot and also Overture - both are well priced here in Australia and I like their print quality. Sunlu PETG High Flow (HF) is the first PETG I have been able to print that "just works". I've had to use a glue stick for the first time ever for it to stick reliably on my textured prusa sheet.

I came to your video because I am wanting a larger printer. Also faster than my MK3S+. I don't want Prusa XL. I think that leaves me K2+, Voron (whatever brand kit is best) or the new Bambu H2D which would also be good for cutting stencils or masks for my airbrushing.

I'd be interested in your thoughts given your experence with larger printing. I really love your creativity too. Great artistic work!

My CFS had the same issue (chewing filament). It started fine and got worse. Since I clipped the tension spring, no issues.

Just FYI you can just see your notes in the K2 door as reflections.
And maybe switch to a foot pedal instead of a mouse but that's basically just nitpicking :)

Hey Nick thanks for the video, I clicked on it because I chose the K2 plus as my first ever printer to use for a 3D printing and scanning business, it’s not arrived yet but I wanted to ask you, what filament brand do you recommend the most taking into account cost and quality?

Good video, I always worked with A1 but have sold that because I want to use varied filaments in the product development field. I initially bought an Anycubic Kobra S1 but have just sent that back, it had too many teething issues, I need to buy a printer and have been looking at the K2, the prism xl (like the ability of 2 printheads or the X1C, it’s a minefield!!!! Also trying to wait til new Babu H2D comes out !

The CFS bottom gear spring is Too strong. Driving me nuts with indenting the filement from all the reels feeds. A hot printer causes the filement to soften and lead to chewing up of any filement. Only fix is dont put CFS on top of the printer.

Hi Nick. A great first effort for your channel! Just a quick tip.. Whenever you do a review like this, some who would like to know some basic specs at the beginning of the video would be helpful.
