Royalton Hicacos Cuba Review & Walk-around

We spent a week at the Royalton Hicacos in Varadero Cuba. Would highly recommend. Beach, food, resort and staff were all amazing. Careful if booking in May... you'll see why lol.

Thanks for the video.... this location is probably going to be our destination for my first trip to Cuba. I don't think the "phone in the bathroom" is a Cuba thing though.... I know two Hotels in Toronto that have that too. It makes perfect if you run out of toilet paper you can call room service or the front desk.... you don't even have to stand up.

I don't understand why there are still sanctions on Cuba when most of the people who are alive now had nothing to do with the revolution. Very typical of a particular country. Innocent people are paying the price for all the politics. Why some people must oppress others and we will all leave mother earth one day. Cuba is my favourite playground. I will always go there. Thanks for your excellent video. The toilet phone is for an emergency.

So we are planning to visit from the USA and I am finding we have to have one of 13 qualifying reasons to visit and seems like our schedule can't have any time of relaxation.... Any advise? Am I missing something? We want to go to the resort and vacay. Thx in advance.

May is the worst time to book in Varadero, and the phone in the bathroom is pretty normal in Cuba, i know it because i´m cuban hahaha
