Very cool! You might want to move the mounting points of the pneumatic muscles further away from the elbow -- you're losing a lot of potential strength and power because of the lever arm!

I dunno if anyone has mentioned it, but for the love of god don't forget a hardware limiter on the joint angles. they demonstrated pretty well in iron man what happens when an armour bends more than the person inside it :P (nice job btw)

You should do a whole suit because this is awesome!

The weight is on your feet though.

Anywas, you need to make a construction that can lift 400kg with one arm like if it was 1kg, and then throw it like a baseball with the force to penetrate a house.

This is actually incredible, recently I have gotten the idea to make a heavy piece of cosplay armor and I needed a way to make it easier to move with, and this actually gave me an idea how to do it, thanks

I would say that if you're not in college yet, this video would help you with getting into where ever it is you're interested in going.

I have an idea. Is it possible to, instead of steel or aluminium, construct the frame using carbon fibre?

The hardware isn't the challange of the exoskeleton, anyone can do that. The challange is the software for it to work in coordination with the human.

Congratulations, you've finished the easy part. Have fun with shoulder design! :P
Seriously tho, has anyone managed to figure out a good way to actuate the shoulder joint? It's really complicated. Send halp!

It's very very cool ! Your concept is simple and effective. I'm French and one more time it's the Anglophone community who make the best thing :)
It is possible for you to make a video of the construction ?

Great work can you try to put the wrist joints on so you don't break a wrist glove style.

removes strain from elbow, puts more stress on collar bone and shoulder.

That's kinda cool but air muscles aren't the way to go. You have to wear an air tank or w/e on your back and they are super bulky yet have a lack of range of motion. It looks like you somewhat fixed the ROM problem by attaching it further down the forearm, which was pretty smart, not sure if that is enough for real-world activities though. If you were moving super heavy stuff you would be quite limited and all that strain would go onto your muscles when you weren't in specific positions. With all that said, this looks really cool and you made it more compact than I have seen before. This is way better than the hacksmith guy's attempt at it.

You should work on pressure sensitive controls on each time you flex your joints

Super strength could become possible in the future imagine getting into a fight just crushing someone's head with one arm

People saying 17 kg isnt that much. Well you could try to hold 17 kg out in your arm like that for that long period of time he did. I am very impressed!
