Enemy A: What's that loud noise?
Enemy B: idk, it must be the wind.

It's probably expensive, inconvenient, lousy and heavy but seeing flying soldiers feels insanely futuristic 🤯

It's so hard to measure how practical it is in military usage but I can definitely see how good it can be used in the rescue service.

Edit: I love keyboard warriors

Awesome tool for urban or mountain search and rescue. I don't know what the weight capacity on this would be but if it can be combined with a load bearing exoskeleton stocked up with medical and rescue equipment I could see this being very useful, especially where helicopters can't get to.

We all know our current most pressing military challenge is getting over short fences. This will be a game changer.

As proof of concept, this is great. I look forward to seeing how it develops

Reminds me of the Rocketeers from Red Alert 2. Very cool

This would be amazingly perfect when they have to solve the platform jumping puzzle to get the hidden power ups.

The problem I can see, besides the use of arms, is once they're airborne, they're highly vulnerable. Unless it's really, **REALLY** fast, if someone can get a bead on them, they could end up shot before they escape. And, of course, that thing is LOUD. So stealth is going to be a problem.

Now, that being said, I could very much see this as a search and rescue vehicle very easily.

I can't really imagine how practical this can be but it's pretty badass lol

Until you actually hear that sound of take off in real life you can't really comprehend it trough the video. The video itself show is to be loud but it doesn't do the sound any justice until you see it for yourself. Had a great privilege of seeing Richard Browning and Gravity a few years back in Belgrade. Best experience you can imagine

I love when people talk about wow it's so futuristic but failed to see how futuristic we are

I love seeing command and conquer red alert 2’s sci-fi prediction coming perfectly to life.

I think this would be more useful for Search and Rescue teams, for hard to reach terrain where helicopters would have trouble landing

Flight time and noise are the biggest drawbacks I think. It's cool to imagine a squad of special forces flying into really tight areas on these to execute a mission but usually stealth is key for those keys and this thing is VERY loud
