I have had so much fun selling or giving away the things in my home I no longer use. Selling items has always been easy for me, BUT, I am still learning to curb my spending!! Once items are out, I need to learn to *not* bring items back in.

I always hit "send" before I think and am finished with my comment. Garage sales. We have had great success selling items with having a garage sale. Even things marked under a $1 build up. We have always made over $300 on garage sales - sometimes way more! Well worth doing in my humble opinion.
I begin going through my house in the winter and put the items in a box *already priced* so that in the spring all I have to do is set them out on tables.
