Locus Iste - Bruckner - Echo Vocal Ensemble - The Kitchen Sessions

A consort from Echo Vocal Ensemble perform Anton Bruckner's stunning motet 'Locus Iste', before a discussion on how to approach some of the most well-known pieces of the sacred western canon.

The Kitchen Sessions were filmed under Covid-19 safety regulations in July 2020. In a direct response to the National lockdown, we spent a day filming in a home setting, and talking about the music and the classical music industry in relation to some of the most relevant topics of the current day.

Locus iste a Deo factus est,
inaestimabile sacramentum,
irreprehensibilis est.

This place was made by God,
a priceless sacrament,
it is without reproach.
