A BRUCKNER A MONTH

When recording a piece by Bruckner every month, there is one piece that cannot be missed: Locus Iste, WAB 23. Probably the most famous of Bruckners motets. The incipit, Locus iste a Deo factus est, translates to "This place was made by God". Bruckner truly found the perfect way to put these words into beautiful music, with chords that seem to sound from heaven. For our video, we tried to find a nice and quiet spot in the Dutch landscapes which fits these words and music. Accompanied by many flies, wasps, other insects and liters of sweat, we did our best to prepare for you a beautiful new video in the Rhoonse Grienden, even during our summer holidays!
