I have had eastern box turtles since I moved to the USA in 2005. All my eastern box turtles were rescued from family members or a random person that owned them for years and couldn't take care of them any longer. Every day friends and family used to ask me for my eastern box turtles, and decided to make an Instagram account about them to show them how the eastern box turtles were doing, and it went viral. I wouldn't say this is the best. There isn't much substrate to bury in, nor will it retain humidity very well. Box turtles like higher humidity and always appreciate plenty of water space as well.

NOOOO don’t use glass it will make them stressed cuz they will think they can leave maybe use a full wood enclosure with a sliding door

I do think they need a little bit more water off because they are turtles, so they can somewhat breathe underwater. I’m not a professional I was just in a lot of research but I think like just a little bit more water.

Please don’t keep them like that because turtles and tortoises get stressed too quickly and this is not good for their health.

You don’t even have any hides for them or good substrate. They need soil not bark. There turtles not tortoises. This is awful honestly
