Graphtec Tusq Pick Shootout Demo - Matt Gear TV

Here's a demonstration of some new picks I got from Graphtec as well as some info about their other range of products. Thanks to James @ Graphtec for sending the picks to me.

Thanks man, really appreciate your comments. The pick up is from a company called LR Baggs, and it's really good. Just Google them, or "acoustic soundhole pickups". They're not cheap (about £150 I think), but work very well. Mines passive, so no batteries, but they do active as well, though I've never tried one of them. Put simply it sounds like a great acoustic, so not like a Strat single coil at all in my opinion. Matt

That pick really sounds notably different and (to my ears) a lot nicer. I am surprised by how much of a difference it made.

Awesome video, the picks sound rad. Have to ask about your acoustic, though: that pickup you have: what are they called, what are the different kinds, and what kinda price would one set me back? I've noticed David Gilmour uses one of the same things, and I've never found out their name. I have a Washburn acoustic, too - with a cutaway. Tempted to try installing one. What are the benefits etc over a strat with a single coil pickup in bridge mode? Is it powered? How do they work, simply? Thanks!
