hello. in response to this. i thought i should clarify. TUSQ picks are not made from the same material as our nuts and saddles and they do not have teflon in them. it is a specially formulated TUSQ material, made specifically for our picks. as with every GT product, they actually do what they say they do. TUSQ picks do produce a tone that no other pick offers. we actually offer 3 tones, bright, warm and deep. I just wanted to clarify.

I get good tone from them BUT I hold my pick 90 degree sideways & use the less pointy curve. The raised letters then catch on the strings and they fly out of my fingers :)

Tusq does not mean bone. It's a solid plastic with teflon in it which works great for guitar nuts so that you don't need to lube them. As for the picks...well...I think it more marketing than anything

lol the tone is determined by what it sounds like when you drop it. Maybe i should use a knife as a pick to cut through the mix more.

Well, that demo was totally stupid, but I've tried the picks, and they are pretty neat. They do sound different than normal picks, harmonics are a little easier with them, but built-in tone? That parts a load of crap
