Excel 2013 Tutorial - How to Calculate Percent Variance

In this tutorial I am going to show you :

How to calculate percent variance.

Variance - is an indicator of the difference between one number and another.

So for example you have to sell 100 tickets but today you sold 120.

Subtracting 100 from 120 you get a unit variance of +20.

Percent Variance - is the percentage difference between the must sell number and sold number.
