It is very hot and humid June-Sept. Just stay near any body of water with a nice sweet ice tea and you will survive it👍🏽 Winter gets cold just as other places...even with a little snow at times. But in the winter we never know from one day to the next if the temperature will be cold enough for a coat, hat and gloves, cool enough for sweater or hot where shorts and flip flops are required. Cowboy boots and hats are worn by folks here but that attire isn't what everyone wears. Most people wear just what you guys wear on the daily.
The Piney Woods area of Texas is beautiful all year around with lots of gorgeous trees. I believe you all would love and fit in well (with your vegan life style) in the Fort Worth or the Austin area. Yes, yall will fit in just fine😊 However, be ready to sometimes repeat what you said or explain what you need. And be ready for lots of smiles, waves and long meaningful conversations cause we're are some friendly peaceful folks here🥰
