I was invited by Tom Scott and the Citation Needed team to be their support act when they performed their show live at Conway Hall, London on 13th August 2016.

Here's me performing my song "Where Do You Get Your Food From Grandma?"

There's something so pleasing about the phrase "uniquely semicircular cheese".

I just noticed that on the thumbnail there are unbranded malt-flakes, mysterious wafers, and uniquely semicircular cheese.

My late Grandmother was a bit like this.

When we were clearing out her house afterwards, we found many extraordinary things - including a jar of Vegemite that expired before I was born.

Yes. Vegemite. THAT HAD EXPIRED IN THE LATE EIGHTIES.

I wonder if he laughed during the trumpet just to prove it was actually him doing it. It almost seemed too perfect until then!

The descending bass line during "Where'ed you get your food from grandma..." is fucking legendary. I can feel it.

This mans mastery of the guitar is insane. This is some ridiculously hard stuff and he plays it WHILE DOING THE BEST MOUTH TRUMPET IVE EVER HEARD! I’ve got nothing but mad respect and adoration for this man

I love that this is such a universal experience

1:05 That happened to me once on saxophone during band practice. It’s extremely contagious; we had to take a break for several minutes, and then a few seconds later, it started up again. We didn’t get much done that day.

The way he cracks himself up at the tuba impression but manages to keep it together is both hilarious and amazing

Jay: 🎵Where do you get your food from Grandma?🎵
Grandma: 🎵Stealing food!🎵

Jay Foreman actually has 3 brains. One in the head (duh), and then one in each hand. Hence why he can play the guitar so bloody effortlessly

Lyrics:

Where d'you get your food from, Grandma?
Though I'm grateful that you feed me a lot!

From the Biscuits to the Chocolate,
to the Teabags, to the Crumpets
You have products no one else has got

In other peoples houses they have Cornflakes and KitKats
But your cupboard hasn't any of these
You give me unbranded maltflakes
and mysterious wafers and uniquely semi-circular cheese

Where d'you get your food from, Grandma?
I'm puzzled by the packets you buy
I've never seen them on TV or in any supermarket
Yet you somehow have an endless supply

(Incredibly perfect trombone impression)
(Trombone laugh)
(Continue trombone impression)

Come to think of it how long has that stuff been in your cupboard?
And why do you always offer me more?
How come we never see you eating any of it yourself?
Have you been keeping it in there since the war?

Where d'you get your food from, Grandma?

Edit: corrected the maltflakes part
